Amendments 17-22 from the US Constitution

Summary

Amendments 17-22 are apart of the US Constitution. However, these amendments are not apart of the Bill of Rights because they are not included in the first 10 amendments of the Constitution. Some of the amendments have different sections in them.

In Amendments 17-22:
The 17th amendment: talks about the Senate in the United States and that there should only be 2 senators per state.
The 18th amendment: Section 1: talks about how making, selling, or transporting intoxicating liquors from the United States if prohibited. Section 2: Congress and several States have the power to enforce this article. Section 3: This article has to be ratified by Congress or else it can not be used or put into the US Constitution.
The 19th amendment: talks about US citizens, male or female, having the right to vote.
The 20th amendment: talks about the terms and the election of the US President and Vice President.
The 21st amendment: talks about how the US can't transport or possess intoxicating liquors or violate any laws.
The 22nd amendment: talks about how a person who is elected to be President, can't be elected nore than twice.

  • After becoming a four paged document, it was signed on September 17th, 1787


Notes

Amendments 17-22 of the US Constitution are some of the many main points of the document. They all state different things and different laws that US citizens and others living in the US need to abide by. Without the US Constitution the US would be chaotic and uncontrollable. These amendments are a few of the many that keeps everything fair, balanced, and under control in the United States.
